Rock ’N’ Roll
The jagged rock formations are stunning. Coupled with the way the water rolls over the rocks, you can see where I got inspiration for the title of this image. There are plenty of wondrous photography landscape opportunities in this part of the world. If you ever get the chance to visit Phillip Island, make sure Pinnacles Lookout is on the list.

I love discovering new locations to capture. Finding hidden gems is always exciting. They provide endless photo opportunities. I believe each sunset tells a story... And that story is heavily influenced by the location that’s delivering it to you. My latest find is Mills Beach on the Mornington Peninsula. The story here is all about tranquility as the sun melts into the horizon.
What a spectacular display. The Gods must have been enraged on this particular evening... It really does look like someone’s set fire to the sky. The Great Ocean Road is well-known for its incredible views and the Tom & Eva Lookout is no exception. There’s plenty of beauty and anger in this image, all powered by nature.
A decadent summer treat... That’s what springs to mind when I take in this image (and it’s not because I am known for having a sweet tooth). Sometimes, it’s best to let the colours do all the hard work, and that’s what’s definitely happening in this picture. It was taken at Hampton Pier in Victoria, a beautiful part of the world where I spend a lot of time.
Sometimes, you find yourself in the right place at the right time. In this case, it was Seaford Pier in Victoria - one of the many gateways to the Mornington Peninsula. This is a favourite image of mine and not just because of the perfect alignment. It’s as if the sun gifted me this shot. I couldn’t help but feel it was setting just for me in this moment. I felt very connected, knowing I was the only person in the world witnessing this sunset in this way. It was an extraordinarily unique window to an ordinary event.
Photographing sunrises and sunsets is a passion. Another is photographing animals and nature. Imagine my delight when I was able to do both while on a morning shoot at Balnarring Beach, Mornington Peninsula. The horses were absolutely stunning. Thanks to the sun, the colours the beach was bathed in only added to the spectacle. This is an image that creates nothing but joy.
It doesn’t take much for me to crave a decadent dessert, so it’s no surprise the warm golden brown colours in this Portsea image does just that. Taken on the Mornington Peninsula, it reminds me of all the times I’ve shared a sweet treat with loved ones down at the beach on a nice summer evening... Absolute bliss!

This image from Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria represents the many things I love about nature. Nothing the Earth gives us is without purpose. This tree provides shelter, life, beauty and a home. The outreaching branches make me think of a roadmap that leads to family and connection no matter the path you take… There’s something mystical about it.
